The Association of Nepalese in Americas (ANA) Conference 2024 is set to take place from July 19-21 in the vibrant cities of San Francisco Bay area, California. This highly anticipated event promises a series of enriching activities and programs, bringing together Nepali communities from across the globe. Conference Coordinator Kranti Aryal Bhandari announced the completion of all preparations, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for all attendees.
ANA President and Conference Chair Khagendra Adhikari, who has arrived in San Francisco from the DC area, highlighted the enthusiastic participation of officials, well-wishers, and guests from various states in the USA, Nepal, and other countries. Participants have been arriving since July 19, and Chief Guest Dr. Minendra Rijal has made his way to the convention.
President Adhikari shared with dhruvascreations that the conference will feature a wide array of programs from 4 PM onward on July 19, including sports like soccer and basketball, followed by a host dinner organized by the convention team at a local Nepali restaurant in Berkeley.
Highlights of the Three-Day Event

Day 1: July 19 (Friday)
- 4 PM – 9 PM: Various programs including sports, meet and greet, press meet, networking, and socialization, culminating with a grand Nepali authentic dinner at a local Nepali restaurant in Berkeley.
Day 2: July 20 (Saturday)
- Morning Sessions:
- 7 AM – 10 AM: Breakfast, yoga, and mental health sessions to kickstart the day.
- Information Technology and Nepali Youth in American Mainstream: Discussions on the role of technology and youth integration.
- Women Entrepreneurship, Safety, and Empowerment: Empowering sessions dedicated to women’s issues and achievements.

On Saturday night, July 20, attendees will be treated to a special performance by the renowned Nepali singer James Pradhan, along with performances by Shashikala Moktan, Juna Prasai, and other talented artists. The chief guest for this year’s conference is Dr. Minendra Rijal, whose presence will add prestige and insight to the event.
Annual Souvenir
This year, the annual Souvenir of the convention is edited by a dedicated team consisting of Dhruva Thapa, Dr. Tika Lamsal, Harihar Dahal, and Pushpa Khanal. The complete layout and design have been meticulously crafted by Dhruva Thapa. The souvenir will be officially unveiled during the opening ceremony of the convention.
