Dear Lions, friends, and esteemed members of the community,

As a proud member of Lions Clubs International and a community member, I am filled with a sense of pride and excitement as I write this post. Being part of the esteemed Berkeley Annapurna Lions Club since its charter, I have witnessed the tremendous impact of Lions Clubs in our communities.

Our journey as Lions has been one of service, compassion, and unity. The core values of Lions Clubs – fellowship, dedication, and a commitment to serve – have resonated deeply with me. I take immense pride in the work our club and the District have accomplished over the years.

On August 27th, we have a special occasion to look forward to – the Joint Installation Ceremony of Lions Clubs in District 4-C3. It is an event that holds great significance for all of us. Together, we will install new club officers and appreciate the outgoing leaders who have guided our clubs with exemplary leadership.

I personally wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all three Presidents who will be taking on important roles in their respective clubs. Congratulations to Akhatar Ansari of Berkeley Annapurna Lions Club, Govind Prasad of Fremont Sagarmatha Lions Club, and Manohara Thapa, the charter president and presiding over the club for the third time, of Berkeley Makalu Lions Club. Your dedication and commitment to service are truly commendable.

This ceremony is not just about celebrating our accomplishments; it is a reaffirmation of our shared mission to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve. Lions Clubs have a rich legacy of service, spanning over a hundred years, and millions of lives have been touched by our collective efforts.

Your presence at the Joint Installation Ceremony is more than just attending an event. It is a testament to your support for the Lions Clubs’ noble cause. Each member’s dedication contributes to the greater good, and together, we create lasting change.

I extend a warm invitation to all Lions, friends, and community members to join us on this special day. Let’s stand together, hand in hand, and celebrate our shared journey of service and compassion. Your presence will make this event truly remarkable and memorable.

Mark your calendars for August 27th, 5 PM, at the North Berkeley Senior Center. Let us come together, appreciate our exceptional leaders, and welcome the newly elected Presidents and their teams. Together, we can continue making a difference in the lives of those in need.

Thank you for being a part of this grand journey. I eagerly look forward to welcoming each one of you with open arms and a grateful heart.

With warmest regards,

Dhruva

A Proud Lions International
